Benchmarking sectoral policy initiatives in support of e-Business for SMEs

Aim of the Project:

The study aims to supporting SME policy making in the European Union by the collection and analysis of various eBusiness initiatives that targeted SMEs. The project collects information and documentation on key existing sectoral policy initiatives and public-private partnerships promoting eBusiness for SMEs at national and regional level, in the EU-25 countries, EEA countries and selected other countries of the world. The authors analyse and assess those policy initiatives against the pre-defined benchmarking framework, with a view to identify good policy elements.

The coordinator of the study is empirica, while ICEG European Center is responsible for covering countries of the New Member States with the help of its national partners and correspondents.
