Alternatives for Exchange Rate Regimes in Advanced Transition Economies

 

ICEG European Center was awarded by a grant from the ACE-PHARE program of the European Union to carry out a research project on the Alternatives for Exchange Rate Regime in Advanced Transition Economies.

The research program analysed the factors determining the choice of exchange rate regime under the recent institutional and structural developments in pre-accession countries, focused on evaluating the trade-off between different exchange rate regimes available for the pre-accession countries and analysed the macroeconomic and institutional pre-conditions needed to make these regimes sustainable.
