Good Practices Consultant for the Investment Reform Index

Aim of the Project:

The Investment Compact for South East Europe is a leading programme designed to improve the investment climate and to encourage private sector development in South East Europe (SEE). The programme is handled by the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe (Working Table II on Economic Reconstruction, Development and Co-operation) and the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs. In the framework of the programme, an Investment Reform Index (IRI) was developed, which is a tool for the SEE countries to measure and communicate progress on key dimensions of investment policy reform. ICEG European Center provided a comprehensive list of Good Practices from Central and Eastern Europe along the policy dimensions of the IRI. Policy dimensions included investment policy, tax policy, anti-corruption, competition policy, trade policy, regulatory reform and human capital.
