Next Steps in developing Information Society Services in the New Member States
The cases of eGovernment and eHealth

Aim of the Project:

The project aims at stock-taking of the developments of the above mentioned two eServices in the New Member States and based on these, to prepare 'drivers and barriers' analyses to determine the underlying factors relevant for eGovernment and eHealth. The research also provides policy options and highlights the main R&D challenges (both technical and non-technical) for these domains. In the framework of the project, 10 country studies are prepared, and a Synthesis study. ICEG European Center is the main contractor for this tender, being responsible for 10 partner institutes.

The project was launched in 2005 and is expected to be finished in 2007.
