Following the first successful meeting, the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF) and ICEG European Center organised a high-level one-day conference on

Financial Summit II.

130 points - 100 steps - 1 reform State Building or State-cutback?

The language of the conference was Hungarian with English impersonation.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss the most important questions, open problems and alternative opinions concerning the structural reform of public finances.

Mr Istvan Stumpf and Mr. Lajos Bokros were the main speakers of the conference. Similarly to the Spring event, in the framework of a roundtable discussion current and former ministers of finance expressed their opinions about the structural problems of public finances. The agenda also includeded the reform of human infrastructure, pension system, healthcare, tax system and legal infrastructure.
For the first time, leading representatives of foreign embassies shared their opinions about the current assessment of our country and the needed reform measures.
