Managing Foreign Capital Flows in Transition Economies of Central and Eastern Europe
Conferences

Two conferences were conducted within the research program. The first conference within the project was organized at ICEG European Center in Budapest on May 18-19, 2001. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the initial findings of the papers, to determine the areas of further research within the project and to think about the region specific lessons and problems related to the management of capital flows in the region.

The final conference within the program was organized in late October with the aim to discuss the final findings of the papers, and to contrast the Eastern-European experiences with capital flows and their management with lessons from other regions.
