Economic Growth and Competitiveness

In the Economic Growth and Competitiveness area ICEG European Center carries out research on factors and empirics of economic growth, links between productivity and growth. Research programs also cover analysis of factors of competitiveness, experiences of fast catching up economies, and closely related to them to them assessment of the Lisbon process and its implications for the New Member States. The research areas also cover the links between economic growth and macroeconomic factors, financial sector and capital flows.
